In today's game, being a strong defenseman goes beyond just defensive capabilities. A modern defenseman is a hybrid player with sound defensive qualities and the ability to bring offensive capabilities to their game. Elite level defensemen need to be capable of making the first pass to break out of their zone, carrying the puck out of their zone, jumping up on the rush and contributing to the team's overall offense.
Hockey is an ever-evolving sport, and to ensure you get the very best in your training, it's important to select the right coach for the job. Many coaches who played at elite levels don't keep up with current trends in the sport. Our athletes train directly with Isaac, a Former OHL Defenceman with the Missisauga Ice Dogs.
Each athlete who attends our defence training classes comes in with different capabilities and different areas for improvement. We tailor our classes specifically to our athletes in attendance to help them improve on the areas they need most while ensuring they receive plenty of 1 on 1 attention from Isaac during their session.

“It’s been great working with Chris, pushing my footwork to the next level. He’s helped my game through video and his attention to detail is excellent. He’s a great goalie coach and i’m glad I get the chance to work with him.”
“Chris’ strength is that he is able to break down goaltending into the smallest details. Building good habits while simultaneously simplifying your game creates a seamless transformation between practice and game. Working at the hockey studio builds a goaltenders confidence in their technique allowing them to clear their mind when it comes game time. I’m so happy to be a part of the Billingsley Goaltending team”
“Chris is someone who is very detailed oriented. He is always looking for new ways to improve his clients games for the better. His positive attitude and strategic approach to the goaltending position is why he is one of the best in the London area”
